SUMMARY:2026 Migration 5K Run
DESCRIPTION:2026 Migration 5K Run\n&\nKids and Family 1 Mile*\n\nThe annual Migration Run will be held Sunday May 10. This is a USATF Certified 5k\, flat\, point to point course along the Homer Spit Trail starting at the Homer Spit Fishing Lagoon. *New this year will be the Kids and Family 1 Mile.  This will be an out and back youth run starting and ending at the Migration 5K Race Finish Line. The races are sponsored by the Kachemak Bay Running Club. SUMMARY:2026 Homer Spit Run 10K and Cosmic Hamlet Half Marathon
DESCRIPTION:2025 Homer Spit Run 10K and Cosmic Hamlet Half Marathon\n&\n*1 Mile Youth (Kids and Family) Run*\n  \n  \nThe Annual Homer Spit Run—10k Run to the Bay\, Cosmic Hamlet Half Marathon and the inaugural 1 Mile Youth (Kids and Family) Run—will be held on Saturday\, June 27th\, 2026. The 10K to the Bay is a USATF-certified 10K course that starts at Homer High School and continues to the end of The Spit. Both races benefit local youth running programs. The 10K to the Bay is a point-to-point 10K from Homer High School and finishing at Lands End.  The Cosmic Hamlet Half Marathon is an out-and-back starting and finishing at Lands End.\nEarly bib pickup will be at Grace Ridge Brewery from 5:30 to 7:30 on June 26th. \nRace Details:\n10K to the Bay:  Runners start at 10 am. The course begins at HHS and ends at Land’s End.\nWalkers: There is an un-timed walkers division for the 10k. All registered walkers will receive a T-shirt and a bib. Walkers will be able to start any time after 9am. Walkers will not be charged the $5 race day extra registration fee. \nCosmic Hamlet Half Marathon: Day of registration and bib pick up will be at Homer High School . Stop at the High School\, get registered\, pick up your bib\, then get to the start at Lands End\, 6 miles away! The 1/2 will follow a similar course to the 10K\, out and back\, ending at Land’s End. Starts at 9am. \n1 Mile Youth (Kids and Family) Run: Free to youth (and family member) participants.  Runners start at the Race Finish Line at Lands End and run an out and back 1 mile course.
